Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials 2017
Once again, we are pleased to announce that there will be a small chapel at the Badminton Horse Trials. We look forward to welcoming anyone who wishes to take some time out from the excitement and hustle and bustle of the Horse Trials, to make some time for reflection and prayers. There will be a vicar on duty throughout the opening times of the chapel, and tea and coffee will be available to everybody. Church Service At St. Michael and All Angels, Great Badminton
On Sunday, 7th May at 10:o0am there will be a mattins service in the church adjoining Badminton House. Our guest preacher will be The Reverend Canon Mitchell-Innes, the former Conduct of Eton College. We encourage as many people, of any faith, to join us at this service, which will help give us all an uplifting start to the final day of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.
- For those with tickets to the Badminton Horse Trials, please follow the signs for the Badminton Horse Trials car parks. Please note that only those with valid tickets for Sunday, 7th May will be granted access to the Horse Trials car parks. To get to the church, please walk into the Deer Park, turn immediately right and head down the drive past the Kennels (do not follow the drive to Badminton House as you will not be able to reach the church via the West Front due to security restrictions). At the end of the drive turn left at the grass roundabout in front of the Estate Office and walk through the gateway with the "PRIVATE - NO ENTRY" sign. The church is at the end of the drive on your right. Please allow at least 10-15 minutes to walk from your car to the church. Parking is not permitted on the private driveway to the church.
- For those wishing to attend the church service, but who do not have tickets to the Horse Trials, you should please park at the Village Hall. There is no parking permitted on the drive to the church/stables without a formal permit.
